AGES 7 TO 14

About the Summer Program:
At the Summer Skateboard Program, our goal is for each skater to have fun, learn how to skate in a way that is safe and space-appropriate, and confidently explore what they are capable of. Our experienced instructors use teaching methods that are dynamic, effective, and fun. Our program takes places at our indoor training facility on Degraw Street, which is outfitted with a variety of movable ramps for learning all aspects and styles of skateboarding.

Schedule:
•Skaters can sign up for the full day(9:00 to 4:00) or for a half day(9:00 to 12:00 or 1:00 to 4:00).
•Every session, whether AM or PM, always starts with stretching, moves into a lesson period, and finishes up with group activities and free skate.  Between the AM and PM session there is a lunch break, and during this time half-day skaters get picked up or dropped off.
•Orientation takes place at the beginning of each week, where skaters get to know each other, participate in a falling and safety clinic, get into instruction groups, and learn about skatepark etiquette.
•Group activities include jumping contests, equipment assembly and maintenance clinics, water balloons, arts and crafts, and more!
