About:
Our after-school skateboarding program is guaranteed to improve any skater's skills, and be a fun and enriching way to spend a few hours after school. Our goal is offer quality skateboarding instruction, professional and responsible adult supervision, and a space for children to unwind and move freely after a long day of sitting still in school.

Daily Schedule:
Drop off time is between 3:30 and 4:00. Every day of after-school begins with a warm up period, followed by stretching. After stretching, there is a lesson period, where skaters of different skill levels break out into groups of no more than 5, and work with an instructor. After the lesson period, we break for snack, and then we have “free skate,” which is time the children to be more self-directed than during the lesson(instructors of course are still there to supervise, demonstrate, and facilitate good skatepark etiquette.)

After-school ends every day at 6:00.
Pick Up:
Our pick up system is walking-based, rain or shine, and free of charge. If you are interested in school pick up, please email mike@homagebrooklyn.com.

Payment Plan:
For those interested in the full-year, we offer a plan which splits the cost into monthly payments.

- To enroll in the payment plan, you must come into Homage Brooklyn Skateshop on 64 Bergen Street, in person, to fill out the necessary paperwork.
- Participation in this plan requires a deposit equal to one monthly payment, and a 5% service charge. Should you discontinue, the deposit will be forfeited.
Skater Requirements:
Skaters who attend after-school must be at least 7 years old, and love to skate! After-school skaters are also required to bring their own helmet, pads, board, a snack, and a reusable water bottle. Every skater must have seen a doctor less than one year before their first day of after-school.

Policies:
- We offer 1 make up day for every 10 sessions of after-school purchased. Make up days must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance, and used within one month of the last purchased day of after-school.
- All purchased weeks must be consecutive, so a 5 week period can not have two weeks in April, two weeks in May, and another in June.
- The day(s) that a child attends after-school each week must remain the same every week.
- Please notify us if a skater is going to be late or absent for any reason.
- If a child is picked up from the Training Facility more than 15 minutes late, there is $30 late fee.
- Should you need to discontinue after-school for any reason, please notify us in writing and you will be refunded a prorated value for the days your child did not attend minus a $100.00 processing fee.
How to Sign Up:
You can sign up either by going to the webstore, or going to Homage Brooklyn Skate Shop at 64 Bergen Street. Sign ups cannot be made over the phone to protect against credit card fraud.
